Following heavy rains during the afternoon to evening on Friday October 20, 2006, the Racecourse Stewards carried out an inspection of the racetrack at 8:10AM on Saturday October 21, 2006 and decide that due to sections of the track being extremely soft, to postpone the day's racing and so advise the Club's Board of Directors.

Having been so informed the Board of Directors by way of round-robin took the decision to re-schedule the raceday of Saturday October 28, 2006.

Due to the re-scheduling of the raceday of Saturday October 21, 2006 to Saturday October 28, 2006, entries for the raceday of Saturday November 4, 2006 will now be taken on Sunday October 29, 2006.
