NEWS RELEASE FROM THE RACECOURSE STEWARDS
Two representatives of the jockeys came to the Racecourse Stewards after the second race and informed them that they had made a decision not to ride any further as a result of the condition of the track.
As a consequence the Racecourse Stewards had no choice but to advise everyone that there will be no further racing today (2/12/06).
The matter will be referred to the Board of Directors and the Stewards of the Club.
