Honorary Members

The Barbados Turf Club has always had Honorary Members. This has been an established practice since the inception of the Turf Club in the early 1800’s. These Members are usually Members of Parliament and the Queen’s representative the Governor General. 

The current Honorary Members are:

• The Rt. Hon: David Thompson MP, Prime Minister of Barbados

• Hon: Dr. Esther Byer-Suckoo, Minister of Family, Sports and Youth Affairs and Enviroment

Life Vice-Presidents

The position of Life Vice-President is awarded to members who have given selflessly over the years to the sport of horseracing. The Barbados Turf Club currently has four Life Vice-Presidents.
